On March 25, 2015 a Saudi-led coalition launched a military intervention in Yemen, known as “Operation Decisive Storm.” The airstrike campaign aims to restore the rule of President Hadi, which was threatened by Houthi rebels. Since the beginning of this campaign, more than 736 people have been killed by both sides––a majority of which are civilians.
Ultimately, this video was created to not only raise awareness regarding the situation in Yemen, but to also shed light on the impact that the Saudi-led offensive and Houthi aggression have on the lives of ordinary Yemenis. In response to the raging conflict, Yemenis inside and outside of the country are saying “Enough War,” or #KefayaWar.
