Brown Political Review’s Sarah Sachs sat down with Alexander Gourevitch, Assistant Professor of Political Science, to talk about a philosophical approach to labor. Gourevitch explained how philosophers like Marx and Locke would respond to today’s unemployment levels. Gourevitch also gave us a sneak preview into some of the questions his seminar “Freedom, Work, and Leisure” will address in the spring. At the end of the interview, Gourevitch tells BPR about his favorite philosopher to teach in “Introduction to Political Thought”.
